Back and Married

I’ve been set back to reality.  I am back at work, back to living regular life with the difference, of course, in the fact that I am living life as a married woman now.  Sometimes it doesn’t feel real to me then I look at my left hand and see my beloved wedding ring.  Then I look at my husband as he refers to me as “his wife” and I start to feel wonderful again.  I love being married.

The wedding was amazing.  It all went better than I expected.  Everyone was on board and so supportive and they did whatever they had to do so well.  My bridesmaids were the most amazing people ever.  Throughout the day, I didn’t think too many things went wrong but even if things did I didn’t know about it because my girls handled it.  That’s what you call bridesmaids.  Apparently one of my bridesmaids was a killer coordinator at the church.  She made sure everything went smoothly without a hitch and everyone was very impressed at how she handled various situations.  One of my dearest friends was an usher for the first time but apparently it seemed like he had done this many times and was pretty much pro about it.  The food was amazing, the photographers and videographers were sweethearts and everyone partied until past midnight. And I cannot forget my husband.  He was so good throughout the day.  He was smiling ear to ear, so very sweet and made sure our wedding day was the best day of my life.   I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Here are a few of the pictures from my photographer. Her and her husband managed to give me 1500 photographs! Can you believe that?! They have a great concept on why they gave me so many photos. All 1500 photos contained pretty much almost every photo they took. So it included good and bad. Why bad pictures are also included? The husband explained it this way, “Even though the picture is not exactly perfect, it still adds to bringing back your memories of that moment to add to your whole experience of your wedding. Even if you did not remember that moment, well then now you know it happened since you missed it. Again, it just added to your experience”. I was blown by that. They are the sweetest people ever. I am soooo excited to finally have my pictures and start on designing my wedding album because I plan to give one to each set of parents as our wedding gift to them because they are people who cherish photos and great memories.

We also got to go on a MINI honeymoon to Portland, Oregon for a few days. We jammed packed everything in a matter of days. We got to go to the zoo, the museum, shopping outlets, numerous restaurants … speaking of restaurants, we were particularly very excited about the CHEESECAKE FACTORY because we don’t have one here in Vancouver!! And my goodness was it ever good. The server was also very sweet in bringing us our cheesecake decorated with “congrats” on it to help us celebrate being newlyweds. The zoo was my favourite place though. I have to admit, the Oregon Zoo pretty much put Vancouver’s zoo to shame. It was gorgeous and I couldn’t believe how close I could get to some of the animals. I was floored!

Congrats

What else is new? We got a new puppy!!! A pug and shitzu cross, appropriately called “PUGZU”. He’s about 11 weeks right now and is the new love of my life. He’s incredibly sweet, smart, cheeky and sooo effing cute. We got him pretty much the day after the wedding so he’s a nice wedding gift to the two of us and an early birthday present for my husband (his birthday was 4 days after the wedding). I want him to be our family dog since we are hoping to start a family as soon as we can. It would be so nice to have our future children grow up with him. He actually has his own INSTAGRAM account to show the life of Tank. Follow him @tank.thepugzu !!

There are so many more things I would love to talk about but I don’t want to flood everything into one post. I am happy to be back on my blog though so I hope to blog more and visit more other blogs to read myself!!
